Amboli - Wonderful Holiday Hill Station Around Mumbai
Hill Station
Amboli is one of the prime slope stations in Maharashtra, encompassed by dense forest and tall hills. A tranquil hill station concealed in the wonderful Sahyadri Ranges, it is around 690 mts above ocean level with dense timberland and tall cliffs. The Hiranyakeshi River has its source in the encompassing slopes and there is an ancient Shiva temple at the mouth of the waterway source.
High cliffs surrounded in fogs in the rainstorm, various waterfalls, lovely valley and wilderness trails draw in weekenders searching for a break. Maharashtra Tourism has a resort worked for guests who might want to exploit the wilderness area and the cool atmosphere for a withdraw from city life.
There are quite a few places in and around Amboli that one can visit. All of these are pretty close by and would not take more than a day to visit all of them.
You can pick a tourist direction maps provided by MTDC from any of the hotels you check in.
